Description
RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE LAUNCH OPERATION SUPPORT CONTRACT (LOSC) UNDER CONTRACT NUMBER FA4610-04-C-0004, WITH CALL HENRY, INCORPORATED (CHI). RECOVERY - XUMU091213B1, Repair Range Facilities Launch Operations Support Center Repair Backlog Plus Up. SCOPE: Economic Stimulus Project XUMU091213B1 "Repair Range Facilites LOSC Backlog Plus Up." The scope of this project is to provide for the repair of various selected range and launch facilities by replacement of HVAC, electrical, utility, structural and other infrastructure components for Civil Engineering Project Number XUMU091213B1. CONTRACT VEHICLE & TYPE OF CONTRACT: The LOSC contract was chosen as the source for providing these American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 services as it is the contract vehicle for providing maintenance, modification and modernization for the aging facility, property and Western Range support equipment to ensure successful performance during tests, operations and launch. Services include periodic maintenance, operations of facility property and equipment (e.g. alarms, cranes & hoists, elevators, generators, mechanical, pressure vessels, structural, towers, utilities) which support critical mission requirements. The LOSC services are performed at the Western Range launch, operation and test facilities infrastructures under the purview of the 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The LOSC contract is a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee with Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee and Cost Reimbursable Line Item structure. The LOSC contract was a competitively awarded Small Business Set-Aside, utilizing Performance Price Trade Off techniques and FAR Part 15 "Contracting by Negotiation" procedures. This American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 project was awarded as a negotiated Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee for Labor and Cost Reimbursement (no fee) Line Item under competitively awarded contract FA4610-04-C-0004 modification P00084.
