- Description
- The 5th Contracting squadron requires Repair Electrical - Flight Security Controllers (FSCs) consisting of general and electrical construction at 15 Missile Alert Facilities; specifically removing and replacing interior finishes and electric systems at Minot AFB, ND. The statement of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Performance Period is 240 calendar days. Work shall be executed in accordance with the government Statement of Work. Water and electricity required will be furnished by the Government. The work is in a restricted area. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A one-year Warranty of Construction will be applicable to this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors); The Small Business Size Standard is $14,000,000 in average annual receipts for the last three years. Work consists of general and electrical construction at 15 Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs). The work performance comprises of general and electrical construction to remove and replace interior finishes and electric systems and with all of the associated demolition and materials to complete the project. The complete solicitation package, which includes the project Statement of Work, will be made available without charge only through the FedBizOpps website at https://fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FedBizOpps. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to keep updated. This project will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process. Solicitation will be available electronically on FedBizOps on or about 22 July 2009 with an anticipated closing date on or about 22 Aug 2009.
