- 1) Overpass/Bridge Façade - Surface mounted, Re-locatable OVERPASS BRIDGE FAÇADE - Scope: The scope of the work consists of shipping all materials required to build the overpass bridge façade to Camp Guernsey, WY for the 90 GCTS and constructing the bridge to a full turn-key operation. The Army National Guard from Camp Guernsey will prepare the gravel surface that the bridge will be placed on. The ISO shipping containers will be positioned and attached to one another to create the foundation of the bridge façade. The bridge façade is required to allow at least four to eight walking troops to pass from one side to the other. The walkway must be constructed of steel strength materials and have safety guardrails from the bottom step of the ladder on one side, to the top of the bridge, across the walking path, and back down to the bottom of the opposite side ladder. Utilizing a series of attachment devices and methods, the shipping containers will be completed to look like a bridge over a road. The expected distance between containers is 30' (the expected width of the road underneath). The construction will be completed in a manner that allows it to be removable and relocated if desired.
