- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division has a requirement for the manufacture and delivery of: 1. Line Lowering, 7 Foot, NSN: 1670-01-508-1565, PN# 11-1-7311-1 for 250 each. 2. Lowering Line, 15 Foot, NSN: 1670-01-508-0399, PN# 11-1-7310-1, for 800 each with 1 option of 400 each. Both requirements will be on the same request for quote. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price Request for Quote. The North American Industry Classification System, NACIS is: 314999. This acquisition is Firm Fixed Price and 100% set aside for small business. The units will be shipped to, SU Transportation Officer, DDSP, New Cumberland Facility, 2001 Mission Drive door 113-134, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. Delivery will be 200 each per month until the delivery is complete. The Request for Quote with drawings and attachments will be posted on the Natick Contracting Division web site at: https://www3.natick.army.mil ON OR ABOUT: 16 July 2009. RFID (DFARS clause 252.211-7006) and UID (DFARS 252.211-7003) apply and are incorporated into Section I, of the solicitation. The closing time and date for this Request for Quote will be 15 days after release of the Request for Quote. Firms will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with quote preparation. Only virgin material is to be used in the manufacturing of these units. Buy American Act applies. Please send (2) quotes, one to Peter.Ondrasek@us.army.mil and one copy to Gail.J.Pitts@us.army.mil.
