- THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide Architect and Engineering Services - primary disciplines of Structural, Civil, Geotechnical, Hydraulic, Mechanical and Electrical engineering with additional disciplines in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Cost Engineering and Specification Writing, W912EK-09-D-0006. This is not a solicitation. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, has awarded a firm fixed price task order for a Main Lock Culvert Valve Machinery Study Phase I at Melvin Price Locks and Dam, Mississippi River. This task order is to investigate the conditions that caused the damage to the culvert valve machinery on the main lock between January 1993 and January 2007. The Contractor shall investigate potential causes, and then suggest alternative methods of solving the problems.
