Description
Design and Build two (2) Brick Concrete Walls at FAA Remote Radio Control Air to Ground Equipment site near Barstow, California The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area is soliciting competitive proposals for a contractor to design, build, and install a concrete block security wall at two separate remote FAA radio control air to ground (RCAG) equipment sites near Barstow, California. The project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, insurance, notifications, licenses, permits, fees and supervision necessary to design, build, and install two (2) concrete block perimeter security walls to enhance existing security for the FAA grounds and associated equipment in accordance with the specifications, contract clauses, and wage rates. This project includes all work identified on the contract statement of work (section C). The estimated dollar value for this contract is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00 THIS ACQUISITION IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BUSNIESS CONCERNS (SEDB). The SEDB firms competing for this acquisition shall be certified and be in good standing as an 8(a) contractor with the Small Business Administration. Certification documents shall be required when submitting offers. See contract clause 3.6.1-8 Notification of Competition Limited to Eligible SEDB Concerns (April, 2000). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238140 (Cement block laying Contactor) for this construction project. Additionally, this NAICS code a small business is defined as a size standard with a maximum size standard of $14.0 million.
