- Description
- The Naval Inventory Control Point is soliciting for a Long Term Contract with a five year base period. This LTC will provide coverage of four spares components used to support the EA-6B Aircraft. The items are as follows: Navigational Light (6220-01-546-0196), External Control Unit (1680-01-547-50710, Anticollision Light (1680-01-547-5073), and Anticollision Light (1680-01-547-5024). Complete data, drawings and rights are not available from the Government. The subject items require Government Source Approval prior to contract award, as these items are considered flight critical and the technical data package is not available. Only the source(s) previously approved by the Government for this item have been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award can not be delayed pending approval. If currently not an approved source for these items, a Source Approval Package must be submitted with the proposal for consideration for future procurements.
