- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure on a sole source basis using simplified acquisition procedures, four (4) Sun Ultra 45 Workstations, RoHS-6 model 1.6GHz 2, 1.6GHz UltraSPARC IIIi Processor with 1MB on-die L2 CacheSun XVR-100 Graphics Accelerator 2GB DDR1 Memory (2 1GB DIMMS) 1 250GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Disk 1 DVD-Dual 2 10/100/1000 BaseT Ether; two (2) Sun Blade 150 Workstations, Sun Ultra Sparc IIi 650 MHz processor, RAM 512 MB, 3.5 inch 1.44 M! B floppy drive, 1X80 GB Hard Drive, DVD ROM Optical Storage, Sun PGX64 graphics card, Integrated Sound Card, Integrated Network Adapter, SunSoft Solaris 8/9 operating system; eight (8) Sun SG-XPC12SCSI-LM320 PCI dual ultra 320 SCSI adaptor; twelve (12) Sony DRX-S70U-R USB DVD burners. All items shall be new and not refurbished and shipped to the Receiving Officer at 6220 Tisdale Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448. There will be no written solicitation issued as a result of this notification and consideration will be all or none. Please reference NSWC Request for Quote (RFQ) # N00178-09-Q-2092. Interested parties may submit their quotes/bids to the following: susan.staples@navy.mil. Because of the urgent nature of this notice, this request is expected to close on or about 07 July 2009, with award expected on/before 14 July 2009. NAICS Code 334111.
