- Special Notice National Institute on Drug Abuse, Office of Acquisitions- Neurosciences, Station Support/Simplified Acquisition Branch, on behalf of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), intends to negotiate on a FAR 13 basis and award a purchase order to a competition was held for a confocal microscope with GSA schedule holders. Carl Zeiss is awarded but its GSA quotation indicated open market items. The Government is in the process of purchasing a Microscope from GSA contract held by Carl Zeiss. There are several pieces that are not available under the GSA schedule. The pieces are required by the Government in order for the microscope to function and be covered under warranty. The contractor shall supply the following: 1) Switching mirror MOT 2x, T-PMT, 2). T-PMT for LSM 710. 3). LSM adapter S{-R amd T60M-L, 4). Tube lens R 3.5, 5). Equip Laser safety Axio Observer/LSM, 6). Dust Cover f/Vert100/135/200, 7). Fastening Kit for Invented, 8). Cable set LSM 710, 9). APO Caibration LSM M27, 10). FL Filter Set 49 DAPI, EX G365 Sfree, 11). LSM fluroscense, 12). Protection shield for transmitted light equipment, 13). Transmitted light Illuminator LSM. 14). Contact Kit Laser Safety Illuminator, 15). Scanning Stage 130x85 mot. P;CAN, 16). Electronic Coaxial Drive (D), 17). Eyepiece PL 10x23 Br. Foc, 18). Incubator XL S1 LSM 710, 19). Heating insert P lab-TekTM S1. Carl Zeiss Microimaging, Inc. provides high resolution microscopy with reproducibility of results.
