Description
U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Robertson Aviation, LLC, 800 W. Carver Rd, Suite 101, Tempe AZ 85284-5264 for the repair and overhaul of fuel tank systems utilized on the A/MH-6M, MH-47E/G, and MH-60K/L/M aircrafts fielded for USSOCOM. The service required will be performance of minor modifications and retrofits on the Goliath Fuel Tank System to include the 185 gallon pump system, 185 gallon suction system, 200 gallon fuel tank system and 800 gallon fuel tank system. The proposed action will be solicited as a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for services which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government requires the use of Crash Worthy Fuel Systems (CWFS) on all of its rotary winged aircraft. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413; the business size is 1000 employees. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 3 August 2009.
