Nihoff 717-605-4579 fax 717-605-2529Email: james.nihoff@navy.milTitle: Replace Roof, Building 206, Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg, PAScope of Work: The work includes replacing the existing roofing system on Bldgs 206 including; removal of existing built-up roofing, repair of deteriorated wood deck, removal of asbestos containing fascia and wall cladding (transite board), installation of roof deck insulation and EPDM roofing, replacement of existing street lights, installation of exterior insulation and finish system and incidental related workEstimated Price Range: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Number of Days in Contract: 240 Number of Bid Items: One NAICS Code: 238160 Roofing Contractors $14 Million. Prospective contractors must register in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award. Bidders are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award. Specifications and drawings will not be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or by CD-ROM. The address for downloading this solicitation from the internet is https://www.neco.navy.mil. All prospective bidders are encouraged to register on the above web site for this procurement when specifications and drawings become available (in about two weeks from the date of this pre-solicitation announcement). Plan holders will be maintained on and can be printed from the web site. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (i.e. amendments) shall be made only on the web site. It is therefore the bidder's responsibility to check the web site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Bid results will be posted on the web site and will not be released by phone.This acquisition shall be set aside for HUB Zone Small Business in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.219-3 Notice of Total HUB Zone Set Aside.
