- RECOVERY--This procurement is an unrestricted competitive procurement and issued under NAICS code 237310. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment for the surfacing and resurfacing of project roads and parking areas at in Louisiana. Principal features of work include mobilization and demobilization, pre-rolling existing pavement to identify failed areas, cold planing existing pavement, repair of existing failed areas within existing pavement, in-grade preparation of existing granular base and shoulder course material, lime treatment of existing base course material, placement of granular base course material, tack coating, asphaltic concrete pavement, granular shoulder course material and pavement striping, removing and replacing existing wheel stops, placing new wheel stops, and environmental protection. ANY CONTRACT RESULTING FROM THIS SOLICITATION WILL HAVE A BASE PERIOD VALUE OF $3,000,000 WITH THE ONE OPTIONAL PERIOD WITH A VALUE OF $2,000,000 FOR A TOTAL OF $5,000,000.00. The value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check often for changes (AMENDMENTS). Issue date on or about July 16, 2009. Bid opening date on or about August 18, 2009. This procurement is unrestricted. This procurement is issued under FSC Code Y299 for a firm fixed priced contract. THIS SOLICITATION INCLUDES BOTH AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) AND NON-ARRA WORK.
