- This is a special notice to inform the public of the use of the Recovery Act funds. RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM. Using Recovery Act funding, the Jacksonville District Corps of Engineers intends to issue a solicitation for the manufacture, outfitting, and delivery of one (1) new, complete, ready for fresh water and salt water operation, all steel, twin diesel engine powered, propeller driven towboat; a custom built boat is not desired and modifications to stock models will be permitted. In addition to the above, work includes: submittal of drawings, logs, test manuals, and warranty and trial operations of the vessel. This will be a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of 10-12 months with a place of delivery of Clewiston, Florida. The above will be solicited under W912EP-09-R-0036, NAICS code 336612, FSC code 1921. The anticipated date of solicitation release is on or about 6 July 2009.
