- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to renew on a sole source basis with American Science & Engineering Inc. 829 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA 01821, a purchase order for the annual maintenance renewal of fourty-seven (47) DEA owned Xray machines. The proposed requirement is for maintenance renewal services DEA wide for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authorityy of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open competition is within the Government's discretion. This notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). Closing date is July 6, 2007, 12:00PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST).
