- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Technical Services Division GIPSA FGIS, Kansas City, MO, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Agilent Technologies, Kansas City, Mo for one (1) G3440A 7890A series GC Custom with configuration; one (1) G4513A 7693A Autoinjector configuration; one (1) G4514A 7693 Tray configured; one (1) G2705BA GC or A/D ChemStation; G1656B ChemStation Software; one (1) G6578A 7890 LTM bundle with configuration. The proposed contract action is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. Numbered Note 22 applies.
