- Description
- RECOVERY--The Corps of Engineers has a need for a contract at East Branch Lake, Wilcox, PA. The work consists of constructing a single lane extension to existing two-lane concrete boat ramp, installation of the new electrical service to the existing gage house downstream of the dam, cleaning and sealing joints in the concrete spillway lining, constructing a handicap access ramp at the boat launch, replacement of diesel fuel tank, and furnishing and installing a new floating dock. The period of performance will be 180 calendar days. Magnitude of the project is between $250,000 to $500,000. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for SBA Certified HUBZone firms (certification as HUBZone concern is made through the US Small Business Administration). The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately July 21, 2009 on-line only through the Federal Business Opportunities website; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the specifications and drawings will not be honored. Requests must be made by registering for this solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Once registered, vendors, plan rooms and printing companies will be able to download the solicitation and drawings on or after the above issuance date.
