- This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set aside.This solicitation announcement is to notify interested parties of the FAA's intentions to procure the construction of a prefabricated metal building to be located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center Atlantic City International Airport NJ 08405. The NAICS code is 236210, Industrial Building Construction Contractors. Work shall include, all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a 40'X 80' prefabricated metal building, cold storage and a laboratory, with a side vestibule door, two 10' roll-up doors, three 3'X 7' personnel doors and seven windows. Partition walls, concrete, paint, electrical, side walks and exterior finish work. Prime Contractor is to perform 60% of the requirement/work. Overall period of performance will be 180 calendar days. A mandatory site visit will be held Wednesday July 08, 2009 08:30 AM EST with all parties meeting at the Security Operations Center Main Gate. All contractor's must confirm via email, if attending the site visit. Drawings, Specifications, and Solicitation will be handed out to site visit attendees only. Estimate range for this project is between $700,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Bid Bond shall be 20% of proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of contract price are required after notification of award. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is contemplated. Security issues require companies to identify personnel whom will be attending the mandatory site visit. All questions must be in writing via e-mail and submitted by Tuesday July 14, 2009 11:00AM EST. Proposals will only be accepted from site visit attendees. All proposals are due by Wednesday July 29, 2009 2:00 PM EST.
