- ITEM 0001: NSN 4920-01-246-1541RN, Part Number 16MTE23046-4, Tester, Switch Assem, used to perform functional tests and alignment of the rotary variable transducer (RVT), which is part of the throttle adjustment position switch assembly and is functionally used only on the F-16 fighter aircraft F110-GE-100 engines. Requirement is for 5 each in the basic year. Also included are 4 Option Periods. Option I is valid for 365 days, 1-5 each; Option II is valid 730 days, 1-4 each; Option III is valid for 1095 days, 1-2 each, Option IV is valid for 1460 days, 1-2 each. Materials: Predominant material aluminum case and steel. Electronic components consist of basic resistors and diodes.DELIVERY - ITEM 0001: Place of delivery for basic quantity: FE2027, 1 each; FE5284, 1 each; FE6511, 1 each; FE6492, 1 each; FE6432, 1 each. Basic quantities are due 180 days ARO contract. Delivery of options is 180 days after exercise of options. Location to be determined. ITEM 0002: Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR), Technical Manuals (TOs) in support of Tester, Switch Assem, NSN 4920-01-246-1541RN.DELIVERY-ITEM 0002: Place of delivery for Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR) is IAW DD Form 1423-1, which will be available online when RFP is posted. Technical Manual Previews are due 60 days ARO Contract. Final Technical Manual is due 45 days prior to delivery of Torque Wrench Tester. The approximate RFP issue date will be 15 July 2009; proposals are due 14 August 2009. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out.This Acquisition is sole source to Lockheed Martin Corporation DBA Lockheed Martin Div Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (81755) IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to Rachel.Wynne@robins.af.mil with copy to Dawn.McCurdy@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS. Anticipated award date is 16 September 2009. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
