- DESC: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT, Only One responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Harris Corporation, to provide the following items: Upgrades to an existing Amberjack direction-finding system in conjunction with the Stingray and Kingfish tactical systems, MCB, Camp Pendleton, CA. UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1. Harris Corporation, 2400 Palm Bay Rd NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905-3377. The dollar value of the award is expected to be under $550,000.00. The resulting award will be a Firm Fixed Price supply contract. The detailed requirements are as follows: Contractor shall provide Six (6) Amberjack X/G upgrades, four (4) Stingray upgrades, four (4) Panasonic Toughbook PC Controller, four (4) Special high-power filtered communication cones, and four (4) Special high-power filtered communication kits for use outside of the continental United States (OCONUS). This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists. No contract award will be made on the basis of any Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. The government will consider all EOIs received prior to Monday, July 6, 2009, before 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on that date. This purchase will be under FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The anticipated award date is August 6, 2009. Point of contact for this purchase is Bruce Glenn at 760-725-8133.
