- Delete all buildings (4) at the US Border Station in Tecate, California and replace fire survey at: Building Name/Number: Hawthorn Federal Building/CA0224 Address: 1500Aviation Way, Hawthorne, CA 90250 Gross Area: 216,102 square feet Net Useable Area: 168,874 sq.ft. Identify all areas in the facility which do not comply with the NFPA 101 and the International Code Council building codes. Provide a listing by locaiton of all non-compliant door hardware and delayed egress locks. Identify if proper signage are provided next todelayed egress locks. Thew building consists of six stories with no basement. Overall height is 85 feet. The configuration of floors 2-6 are essentially typical, with respecat to the core areas consisting of east and west stairways, duct shafts and elevators. The core areas are located within vertical shafts, which are isolated from other areas by 2-hour fire rated separations. The Building is fully automatic sprinkler procteced and is equipped with a fire alarm system. Engineered smoke control is not provided and emergency power systems are provided. The fire protection systems drawings are kept at the maintenance and operations (M&O) office in the building.
