- Description
- SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - SCRO, Grand Prairie, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB-ERE-4059 for the construction of, to include but not limited to, removal and replacement of approximately 3150 linear feet of 12' high interior and exterior perimeter fencing, gravel barbed tape, concrete walkway, concrete mow strip, asphalt perimeter road and appurtenances. Work also includes the demolition of the existing perimeter intrusion detection system, rear sallyport, gate building, tower storage building, road and driveway. Work includes rear gate sallyport construction and perimeter fence midrail and perimeter intrusion detection system installation. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work located at the Federal Correctional Institution, El Reno, Oklahoma. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will available on or about June 30, 2009 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately July 30, 2009. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed soley through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This solicitation has been set-aside 100% for total small business.
