- THIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR SOLICITATION. The Food and Drug Administration, Jefferson Laboratories, in Jefferson, Arkansas, is seeking business sources, including service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and 8(a) certified companies. The following information is provided to assist the FDA in conducting Market Research to identify potential contractors for this effort: The government is seeking sources interested in the installation of a variable volume reheat HVAC system(s) to serve approximately 20,000 square feet of existing floor space in Buildings 5C and 5D. The project will include the demolition of the existing stand-alone, direct-expansion HVAC systems. The new HVAC system will consist of a new central station air handling unit, air terminals with heating water reheat coils, ductwork, electrical, piping, and automatic temperature controls. The construction duration is estimated to be 365 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is- 238220- Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; Small Business Size Standard is $14.0 Million. Potential contractors must indicate business size and proof of any set-aside certification and provide a contact name, the mailing address, phone number and email address of point of contact. Capability statements must provide enough information to determine if the company can meet the requirement and be no longer than 5 pages excluding set-aside certifications. Capability statements must reference similar work that has been performed by the contractor in the last three (3) years, a description of the work, the dollar value of the work performed, indicate whether you were a prime or subcontracotr and contact information for references knowledgeable about the quality of the work completed.
