- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office South West of Camp Pendleton, CA is soliciting quotations for the rebuilding of Mercedes Benz 603.950 Turbo Diesel Engines, Fuel Injection Pumps and Turbo Units. The Government will transport these items (up to 400 mile radius from MCMWTC Bridgeport, CA) to the contractor's facility and pick up the items upon completion of the rebuilds. A written solicitation will be issued as A Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation number will be M00681-09-T-0104. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract as a result of quotations received in response to the solicitation. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 811198 with a Size Standard of 7.0M. The Government will solicit and award this contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items in accordance FAR 13.5. The solicitation will be available on or about 01 July 2009.
