- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912EQ-09-B-0011. The Memphis District Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a contract for clearing and snagging on Locust Creek and Below Locust Creek in Craighead and Greene Counties, Arkansas. This project consists of channel clearing and cleanout of Locust Creek and Below Locust Creek from Levee Baseline Station 52/7+53 to Locust Creek Baseline Station 472+17. Designated inlets and Culverts entering through the channel side slopes of Locust Creek will have rock placement. This project also consists of establishment of turf within the right-of-way limits, including the berm, excavated material embankment, anywhere above top bank that is denuded of grass due to construction activities, and the excavated channel slopes down to waters edge. The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This work is set-aside for HubZone certified small business firms. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS code 237990. The size standard is $33,500,000.00 The solicitation will be issued on or about 16 July 2009, and bid opening will be on or about 18 August 2009.
