- RECOVERYThis is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to dismantle and replace approximately 4.5 miles of fencing at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park located in Stonewall, Texas. The contractor will be responsible for dismantling all fences, netting, barb wire, and wooden posts. The contactor is responsible for removal of all replaced material from the Park. All cedar posts used on this project will be peeled cedar, 70% heart and straight. All corner posts will be set 5ft. in the ground, tamped in dirt. All line posts will be set 3 ft. in the ground, tamped in dirt. No cement will be used to set wooden posts. All corner and brace posts will be 10 ft. long with an 8 inch top. All line posts will be 8 ft. long with a 5 inch top. All cedar posts will have the "ax cut" look on top. All barb wire used will be 12/5 gauge, two point barb and American Made. Approximate roll weight 71 lbs. Netting used will be 10-47-6, 12.5 gauge approximate roll weight 192 lbs, and 10-39-6, 12.5 gauge approximate roll weight 170 lbs. Each corner will have a "dead man" 3 ft. deep by 1 ft. wide. Contractor is responsible for supplying all materials (tie, wire, staples) and labor to complete the project. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract with a performance period of 90 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is subject to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and as such is open to all concerns regardless of size. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business size standard is $13.0 million. In accordance with FAR Section 36.204, the estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
