- Description
- Work consists of conducting tree thinning and slash piling (decking) to reduce fuels and improve timber stands. The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, supervision, workman’s compensation, unemployment, and transportation to accomplish projects on the Pine Ridge Ranger District, Nebraska National Forest. The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-09-0205, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Proposal (RFP), resulting in a Firm Fixed Price contract. This work will be set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 113310. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about July 16, 2009, at the website address: http://www.fbo.gov/. A Pre-Proposal Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information is available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
