- Location maps for solicitation number AG-4419-S-09-0026 The file is a SOW for solicitation number AG-4419-S-09-0026. RECOVERY - This project consists of the removal of hazardous ladder fuels vegetation from approximately 110 acres in the Eagle River/Florence Ranger District. Ladder fuel removal will consist of using chainsaws and other hand tools to cut vegetation and piled to prescribed specifications. Some specific Requirements are: - Stump heights of removed vegetation will be no greater than 4 inches in height. Angle cuts on stumps will be less than 20 degrees. - Pile heights shall be no less thn 7 feet tall and no higher than 10 feet tall. - Piles shall be constructed to a maximum width of 15X15 feet and no smaller than 6X6 feet wide. - Piles shall be a minimum of 12 feet from the outside base of the pile to any residual tree. See Attached SOW for more detailed specifications.
