- Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Maritime Industrial Division in Portsmouth, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to SPECTRO Analytical Instruments, Mahwah, NJ 07430 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requirement is to renew full service maintenance contract for SPECTRO OES and ICP. Model ICP- CIROS S/N 10758-99, AUTOSAMPLER no S/N and SPECTROLAB S, model SMA-LAB M/F M8 S/N 9203-97. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Interested firms shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 12:00 PM EDT, 17 July 2009, via facsimile or email.
