- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912DY-09-R-0114. RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE FACILITIES REPAIR/RENEWAL PROGRAM (FRR). This opportunity is available to the following 8(a) contractors only: w912dy-08-d-0026, the clement group, llc and w912dy-08-d-0027, futurenet-bhate jv, llc. The new riverlands sanctuary orientation center will provide reception, orientation and disseminate information to the 200,000 + annual visitors to the existing riverlands migratory bird sanctuary (rmbs) located on the rivers project. The rsoc will be a separate and distinct building from the rivers project office administration building (see appendix a design narrative). The two buildings will be connected by a breezeway. The rsoc will provide a facility to engage the public in experiences that are provocative, educational, and encourage a broader understanding and appreciation of all the resources and features of the rmbs and the role it plays in sustaining federal migratory bird populations and advancing the corps overall water resource development mission. Visitors will generally consist of school groups transported to the center by school bus and members of the general public pursuing nature based recreational and educational experiences. Additional visitors will arrive by car and/or tour bus.
