- Description
- The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will issue a solicitation that wil be conducted in accordance with Two-Step Negotiated Proposal using Simplified Acquisition procedures as outlined in Part 12, Part 13, Part 14.5 and Part 15.3 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Step One is to obtain unpriced technical proposals and Step Two will be the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP). This requirement is for the design layout, purchase and installation of Classroom Systems furniture. The Offeror shall provide a complete turnkey solution to the installation of system furniture. The offeror shall furnish all parts, labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to deliver and install new Classroom Systems furniture and provide all necessary electrical work/connections. The Contractor will be responsible to disassemble/remove the existing classroom systems furniture and deliver to the appropriate Defense Reutilization and Marketing Facility (DRMO). The contractor shall comply with all building codes, federal, state, and local laws, statutes and regulations applicable to the project for the clients in the classroom for the Spaatz Center at Maxwell AFB, AL. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract requirments contracts for a 12 month base year and four (4, 1 year options. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 337214 and the small business size standard is 500employees. The solicitation will be available on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov, on or about 2 Jul 2009. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. IMPORTANT NOTES: All prospective Offerors interested in submitting a proposal must have a Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE). All offerors responding to the solicitation must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), which can be accomplished via the web @ http://www.ccr.gov., Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) database @ http://www.wawf.eb.mil, AND Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov.
