The system would be designed and constructed to meet the primary loads of buildings ventilation air pre-heating and boiler makeup water pre-heating. The control system would allow for the heating of domestic hot water in buildings when excess capacity is available from the geothermal well. The design and construction shall be done in such a way as to meet the following goals: o Maximizes investment value (lowest payback) o Maximizes annual geothermal system load factor o Remains within available geothermal capacity The VA-NEBC is seeking potential sources to complete the design and construction of geothermal energy source design-build system. The project must include the design, documentation, construction, testing, and training of the geothermal energy source system.
