- DIGIAL OSCILLOSCOPE FBO ANNOUNCEMENT: COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION ACTION CODE: CLASSIFICATION CODE: 66 - INSTRUMENT AND LABORATORY EQUIPMENT SUBJECT: DIGITAL OSCILLOSCOPE NB620020-9-04999 RESPONSE DATE: July 16, 2009, 10:00 AM (EST) CONTACT POINTS: Mary Alice Powe, Contracting Officer, (301) 975-8567 DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOUCMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS SOLICITATION IS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AND INCORPORATED PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES ARE THOSE IN EFFECT THROUGH FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR (FAC) 2005-32. ***The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this procurement is 334515. This requirement is unrestricted and all responsible offerors may submit a quotation. ***The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a Digital Oscilloscope to be used at the Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNST) at NIST, Gaithersburg, Maryland. ***See the attached solicitation for full specification for Oscilloscope. ***Warranty - Quotation must include unlimited telephone/e-mail support during the warranty period for questions regarding operations, and at least one-year warranty. ***Delivery shall be FOB DESTINATION and be completed in accordance with the contractor's commercial schedule.*** ***The contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, delivery the shipment in good order and condition to the point of delivery specified in the purchase order, be responsibility for any loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery point specified in the purchase order; and pay all charges to the specified point of delivery. The contractor shall delivery all items to NIST, Building 301, Shipping and receiving Gaithersburg, MD 20899 *** Award determination will be based upon technically acceptable low price.
