- Description
- Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), managing contractor of the Savannah River Site (SRS) for the Department of Energy (DOE), solicits interested firms desiring to be considered for service contract to provide on site labor and equipment for multiple in-situ gamma spectroscopy measurements of selected waste containers to identify localized high concentration of transuranic radionuclides. For each container, relative levels of TRU radioactivity shall be depicted on a color-contour diagram (similar to thermal imaging). Any company interested shall submit a letter of interest to David Whittle (email acceptable). RFP response due date is July 15, 2009.
