- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W58RGZ-09-R-0403. Description: This requirement is for the procurement of engineering services and technical support for the Armed Scout Helicopter platforms; ie., OH-58A/C/D, UH-1, TH-67 and the FMS 407 Armed Scout Helicopter. Justification and Approval applies for other than full and open competition at FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source or only a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to conduct a sole source contract to the approved source, Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (BHTI), Hurst, TX. Only an approved source will be considered for award.
