- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912J7-09-T-0012 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The following line items are required for the RFQ, please provide the unit price and total price for each line item when submitting the quote: LINE ITEM 0001- Provide self contained portable shower trailer units for 450 personnel per day, with washing/shaving stations. Personnel will utilize facility when training allows. Units must have hot and cold water. Contractor is to maintain showers and keep in a clean condition. Showers are to be in operation from 16 July 2009 to 12 Aug 2009. Water will be provided by the Gowen Field Training Facility. The shower location will be on the Orchard Training Area (OTA) 45 miles from Boise, Idaho. The OTA soil conditions are compacted soil and cinders. Water access point is approximately 10 miles from the shower location. There is no power at shower point; therefore Contractor will need to provide any electrical requirements. Contractor is to have showers available 14 hours a day for use by soldiers. Tentative hours will be from 0600 to 2000 hours daily. Showers shall be partitioned to accommodate both male and female soldiers. The contractor is responsible for filling and ensuring proper procedures are followed in disposing of gray water at the designated site. Pricing should include potable water truck, gray water truck, to include delivery and return trip, potable water service, and gray water service. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-33 (Effective 15 Jun 09). This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
