- Description
- This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested HubZone vendors for the Renovation of Bldg 447 on Goodfellow AFB, Texas. The work includes but is not limited to the renovation of the interior of the facility and drainage, replacement of the HVAC systems, remodeling rooms including demolition of walls, installing raised access flooring, and updating wall finishes, flooring tile, and walls. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5 million. The proposed acquisition will be 100% HubZone Set-Aside. The Government anticipates issuance of an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Any resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Priced (FFP). The magnitude of this contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the opening date. Qualified HubZone businesses should submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than close of business (4:30 PM CST) on 6 Jul 09. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a capabilities statement stating their experience within the past three years of same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status, business size based under NAICS 236220, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, should one be issued, the successful offeror must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov/. The successful offeror must also have an active Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). The ORCA website is: http://orca.bpn.gov/. Submission of any information in response to this sources sought notice is completely voluntary, and shall not constitute a fee to the Government. This is not a solicitation, nor does it guarantee a solicitation will be issued. This is a request to determine whether or not any HubZone businesses are capable of meeting this requirement.
