- Description
- The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (Corporation) plans to purchase eight (8) new single-skin reverse tainter culvert valves. The valves will be fabricated of structural steel to the Corporation's design. The approximate dimensions of each valve are 14 ft. high by 12 ft. wide by 16 ft. long, with an estimated weight of approximately 32,000 lbs. each. The Corporation plans to order a minimum of two (2) valves prior to September 30, 2009 with an option to order the remaining valves over a three (3) year period (prior to September 30, 2012), based on funding availability. The Corporation intends to award a firm fixed price contract with economic price adjustment on or about August 24, 2009 The solicitation, including drawings, will be available for downloading from www.fedbizops on or about July 20, 2009 and delivery of the first order will be required by July 31, 2010. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. NAICS Code: 332911; Size Standard: 500 employees.
