- Description
- The contractor will be required to provide all materials and labor to construct the Falls Campground Water System on the Palisades Ranger District for the U.S. Forest Service. The project consists of the following: 1.Abandoning existing Falls CG water system, including abandoning existing well, removing and disposing of existing hydrants and piping where encountered. 2.Drill new solar powered well 3.Install Solar Panels, Electrical, and Electrical Line to Tank Float 4.Install 3000 gal storage tank 5.Install water distribution system 6.Install new hydrants The Falls campground is located on the Palisades District, on the South Fork of the Snake River, Forest Service Road 058 approximately 2 miles west of Swan Valley, Idaho. The magnitude of this project is estimated to range between $250,000 and $500,000. A site visit will be held on July 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The location of the site visit will be at the Falls Group Site. This will be addressed in the Drawings which along with the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be uploaded on or about July 15, 2009. Work is anticipated to begin about August 24, 2009 to be completed by November 30, 2009.
