- This is a combined Brand Name Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, effective 12 June 2008. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337211 with an associated size standard of 500. This requirment is Brand Name specific for Haworth Furninture. 100 Each - David Edwards (manufacturer), St. Charles Open Back Stacker Arm Chair. Wood Finish: #40A Clear Satin on Maple. Fabric: GR. 7000 Design TEX Samba, Color: Time 1 Job - Receive, inspect, deliver and set in place. This includes the romoval of all packing materials. Includes removal of the MED Center building of 75-100 existing chairs. The Contracting Squadron, 88 CONS/PKAA, will make the following acquisition: The solicitation issue date is 30 June 2009 and will close 2 July 08 at 12:00 PM EST. This RFQ is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. Quotes must report the manufacturer, description, quantity of each item, installation required for this contract and, individual item pricing. Pricing should be FOB Destination. Pursuant to the Brand Name or Equal clause (FAR 52.211-6); the offeror must provide descriptive literature of item being offered. Equal will be evaluated based on proposed furniture equivalent to manufacturers size, strength, weight, sturdiness, and height adjustable configuration, at a minimum. If descriptive literature and fabric samples are not provided, the offeror will be determined to be nonresponsive. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award for solicitations issued after 31 May 98. The Government will evaluate equally, as regards to time of delivery, offers that propose delivery within the applicable delivery period specified above. Offers that propose delivery that will not clearly fall within the applicable required delivery period specified above, will be considered nonresponsive and rejected. The Government reserves the right to award under either the required delivery schedule or the proposed delivery schedule, when an offeror offers an earlier delivery schedule than required above. Inquiries and information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this particular acquisition. Price and other factors (technical/quality and delivery) considered, award will be made to the offeror which represents the best value to the Government. Submit your proposal to TSgt Michael A.
