- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912PP09R0033. AUGER/SPT SAMPLE BORINGS & TESTING MIDDLE RIO GRANDE FLOOD PROTECTION ALBUQUERQUE TO BELEN, NM. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. NAICS is 213115/SIC 1481, with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The bidders attention is directed to Section L in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. The Solicitation will be issued on or about July 17,2009, with Proposals due on or about August17,2009. This solicitation will not be issued on paper. WORK CONSISTS of Auger drilling and drive (SPT) sampling of foundation materials and earthen levees along the Albuquerque Mountain View Reach, Isleta and Belen East and West Reaches of the Rio Grande. This project will be advertised as a Request for Proposals. Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract. Questions of a technical nature should be posted on www.projnet.org/projnet. BIDDERS MUST BE REGISTERED with Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government Contract award. To register, the CCR Internet address is: http://www.ccr.gov. Additionally, a paper form for registration may be obtained from the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) system. FBO is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies.
