- Amendment 2 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-03R6-S-09-0082 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurement is being issued as a 100 % small business set-aside under NAICS code 444130 and nonmanufacturer small business size standard of 500 employees. The requirement is for 300 each fire line 36" metal sprinkler stands with 3 25 support legs-collapsible with options/specifications. Several pieces require NFES Parts. Options/Specifications for sprinkler stand: 36 Extension with 3/4" full and part circle adjustable brass impact sprinkler- rated at 4.7 GPM @ 45 PSI NFES 7013 Sprinkler Head per attached picture. 40-50 PSI brass pressure regulator factory preset to 45 PSI-Rated up to 12 GPM & 150 PSI. NFES 0402 per attached picture. 3/4" galvanized street elbow and 3/4" brass garden hose adapter. 2-Velcro straps permanently attached to hold in closed position. Strapping also supports storage and transportation of the complete units. Holes drilled in all 3 feet on support legs (7/16") for stake down. Feet must be drilled to facilitate using the NFES 0538 Pins for anchors The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items are applicable. The quoter acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Technical (non price) factors and past performance, when combined are equally as important as price. Quoter shall indicate earliest possible delivery date. The provision at 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Feb 2009) is applicable and must be completed and returned with quote. Fax quotations will be accepted at (406) 329-3866. Email quotes will also be accepted. Address all quotes to the attention of: Leta Wicka, WMAZ. Clauses 52.212-4, contract Terms and conditions-Commercial Items (Mar 2009) and 2.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (May 2009) are incorporated by reference. Additional FAR clauses are 52.203-6 with Alternate 1, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.222-19, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, and 52.232.33. Attachments include the schedule of items and pictures of sprinkler assembly and required NFES parts. Amendment Two extends due date to July 7, 2009 to allow time to provide vendors with clarification of requirements for need.
