- Description
- The proposed contractor shall furnish all transportation, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and supplies needed to relocate electrical service at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam located in Desha County, Arkansas. Services to also include, but limited to providing medium voltage conductors and concrete encased duct banks; transformers and transformer platforms; manual transfer switches; disconnect switches; service platforms; low voltage conductors; motor control center breakers, electrical pulling manhole (modification of the floor of the existing water well pit which will be converted to the new electrical manhole) with sump pump; etc. This job involves heavy electrical work and coordination with lock operators. The electricians will also need to have heavy pulling equipment. Existing utilities are underground fiber optic, water, sewer, control and power which are to be located by the Contractor. This work is in a remote area and subject to large fluctuations of water levels. Primary and metering work shall meet the requirements of C&L Electric, F.O.B. Destination - Star City, Arkansas - QTY: 0001 (1 JB) 0002 (1 Ea). Solicitation W9127S-09-R-0057 to be issued o/a 16 July 2009 with closing a/o 17 August 2009. This acquisition is issued as a HubZone Set-Aside - NAICS CODE 237130/33.5M. Any contract awarded as a result of this Solicitation will be a Firm Fixed Price contract.
