- This project consists of improving road drainage and reducing erosion on approximately 3.5 miles of the West Bridger Forest Road #488. The work consists of road reconditioning, drain dip construction, culvert installation, and aggregate surfacing on the Big Timber Ranger District, Gallatin National Forest, Montana. The project is located approximately 25 air miles southeast of Big Timber, Montana. Easiest access is gained by traveling east on I-90 from Big Timber, MT. for 18 miles. Take the Bridger Creek exit and follow the Bridger Creek County Road for about 10 miles to the West Bridger Road junction. Turn right on West Bridger Road and follow it for 2 miles to the Forest Boundary. Government estimate between $25,000 -$100,000. Solicitation issuance date on or about July 9, 2009. Solicitation will be posted electronically.
