- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER CONTRACT NUMBER W912DQ-09-D-1013-0002 (SOLICITATION NUMBER W912DQ-09-R-1020). The Kansas City District, Corps of Engineers will be issuing a task order award on or about 14 July 2009 for HVAC system replacement at the Long Branch Lake, Administration Building and Visitor Center. Work shall consist of removing all components of old system and installing new Geothermal system. The contractor shall furnish all manpower, equipment and tools necessary to provide the required services. The NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $14,000,000.00. This procurement will be a Sole Source award in accordance with FAR Part 19, and DFAR Part 219. Reference is made to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5) and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(5) as the authority for use of other than full and open competition. The magnitude of this construction award is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
