Description
Raytheon Decoy Magazine Simulator (DMS), with associated 1-year maintenance, used for the ALE-50 Towed Decoy System (TDS), to maintain the F-16 Block 30 Operational Flight Programs (OFP). Only known source of the DMS is Raytheon, Space and Airborne Sys, Electronic Warfare Systems, Tactical Avionics systems Electronic Warfare, 6038 Hollister Ave, Goleta, CA 93177-3114, CAGE Code 06129. The DMS is a military item developed by Raytheon, to support the testing and maintenance for the F-16 weapon system OFP software on the F-16 block 30 aircraft, and it simulates F-16 Towed Decoys for the electronic warfare threat avoidance system testing. The new DMS will replace an older out of date model, which can no longer be supported. The new DMS will be a current model giving better test results, in addition, it will additional tests and troubleshooting capability to further enhance software development and validation. No substitutions are allowed. Cost and Pricing information is anticipated to be needed, and the contractor past performance will be reviewed; along with the lowest price offeror that meets our minimum specifications and final acceptance testing. The solicitation will be issued on or about 09 July 2009. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website< https://www.fbo.gov/ >. The Offer Due date will be 30 days later on or about 10 Aug 2009. All current/future information about this acquisition, i.e., solicitation, amendments, purchase specification, and Q&As will be distributed through FBO. This item is sole source. However, interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation.
