- Description
- The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, located in Kennesaw, GA, has a requirement to remove hazardous and potentially hazardous trees and limbs located in various areas of the park. Trees will range from 12" to 36" in diameter and up to 100' high, and their removal will result in park boundaries and roads/trails being free of hazardous trees. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR Part 37 (Service Contracting) and Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). The performance period will be for one year beginning with award of the contract. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is July 20, 2009, and the anticipated date of award is August 24, 2009.
