Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley VA Hospital Tampa FL intends to award a best value Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for general construction. This RFP will be set aside for Service Disabled, Veteran owned small businesses. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220.The MATOC Program is for execution of a broad range of maintenance, repair, renovation and minor construction. Task orders will not exceed $100,000.00. Typical work includes, but is not be limited to: interior and exterior renovations, heating and air-conditioning, HVAC controls, plumbing, fire suppression, interior and exterior electrical and lighting, fire and intrusion alarms, communications, limited utilities, site-work, landscaping, fencing, masonry, roofing, concrete, asphalt paving, storm drainage, limited environmental remediation, construction of new facilities, and other related work. The government may award up to five (5) IDIQ contracts. The government will evaluate offers and select the awardees using Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) best value source selection procedures. Performance period will be one basic year plus four options. Total contract value (combined value of all task orders from all awarded contracts) is not to exceed $4.5M over a five-year period. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about August 15, 2009. The RFP will be posted on the website at http://www.fbo.gov/. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractors responsibility to check the website for any and all amendments to this solicitation. Prospective contractors shall be registered at Vet Biz web site located at http://www.vetbiz.gov/, Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database located at http://www.ccr.gov/ and the VETS 100 program (http://vets100.cudenver.edu/vets100.asp). Failure to register may cause your firm to be ineligible for award.
