- This is a notification that there has been a revision to the synopsis on the NAVAIR website. The proposal submission year date is changed from 2008 to 2009. In addition, Industry Day is changed from July 17th to July 14th and registration date is no later than the 7th of July. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure, via full and open competition procedures, follow-on contractor logistic support for the C-40A aircraft. The Navy intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) FAR Part 12 Task Order Contract to the company evaluated as providing the "Best Value" to the Government, all factors in accordance with Section L and M of the RFP taken into consideration. In accordance with Block 8 of the RFP DD Form 1449, proposal submission dead-line is no later than 1300 EST on 18 August 2008.
