- Description
- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W81XWH-RFI-AWCTS. All questions received for this solictiation are stated below with answers. Please email proposals to brian.d.miller1@us.army.mil by date below. 1)The due date for this solicitation has been extended to July 3, 2009. 2)In terms of the questions that we need to address especially timeline and cost - what is the expectation at this point? The expectation is that the application must be available by 1 May 2010; the cost will vary per spiral face. 3)Is there any more information the nature of the MTFs, how many there are and how disparate they are. This application will be a web-based solution and the main servers will be maintained at San Antonio, Texas in the IT organization. 4)In order to gather requirements etc, would we be working with one group of U.S Army personnel or with each MTF individually? Yes, you would be working with one group. All requirements are being rather as we speak. We have a big portion of them already. 5)Regarding the above referenced solicitation is there an existing application to be expanded, or must one be written to meet the requirements? This is a new application that must be written to meet the requirements; however, it must be written to ensure interfaces of other applications can be integrated. 6)It is unclear if the systems (MTFs, WWAS) are to be replaced by this new system (AWCTS) or if you expect this system to supplement/complement the existing systems and they would co-exist. This new system AWCTS will replace any home grown system out in the medical community to include: WWAS, MMTS,AW2, CTP and any other. The more questions I get the better I feel so please keep them coming. I am almost done with the PWS, my technical person is taking a look at the requirements and deliverables.
