Description
This Sources Sought is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE is conducting a market survey to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract. This will be for the purchase of a MP5000 (or equal) phone system/switch with 2 network cards, 1 T1 Card, 11 16-Port Digital Cards, 10 16-Port Analog Cards, and Comm & Control Center. This must be a vertical system compatible with the rest of the phone system in the Veach-Baley Federal Complex in Asheville, NC. Also included will be the purchase of three full duplex phones (Part No. VW-EP100-G-L12 or equal) and up to 70 phones (Part #VW-E100-12 or equal). Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, parts, and equipment necessary to replace/remove old phone system/switch and install, set up, and test new phone system/switch. Contractor will provide service and/or maintenance on an as-needed basis for phone line changes and DSN phone number changes. The equipment installed will be incorporated into an existing service contract which will provide coverage for any major phone service issues encountered concerning this system. NAICS code is 334210 with a size standard of 1,000. Prospective firms should notify this office of their interest in this notice and must indicate their SBA Size Standard and provide descriptive literature or other documentation. Responses to this Sources Sought should be submitted electronically via e-mail addressed to mary.thomsen@offutt.af.mil. Responses should include the following: (1) Identification of SBA Size Standard, certifications, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or if you are a small business, a self-certification; (2) If you are a Section 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB firm considering a joint venture, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the appropriate SBA office for approval; (3) Proof of experience and capability. NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal, or an announcement of a solicitation. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM Central Standard Time on Friday, July 10, 2009. Responses shall be limited to ten (10) pages. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
